      Interested to know more about the resonators. Following the earlier conversations about the ARTIN modules , would I be right in thinking that the resonators are derived from the MI Rings source code ? The manual entries sound similar.

        We started from the code in Rings and Plaits. However, like almost all the other modules we derived from third parties, it is a from-scratch reimplementation, and we had a different set of constraints from the MI modules (less CPU to dedicate, etc.) so we ended up in a somewhat different place.

          @join That's interesting, thanks.

          I was was asking because I was interested in exploring the parameters STRUCT and BRIGHT with their references to plate, bar, string, nylon, wood, steel, glass ... so I guess if this code is derived from MI code, then the deeper explanation of these parameters for Rings ( https://mutable-instruments.net/modules/rings/manual/ ) will probably also make sense for your modules ?

            The aim for Rings was definitely to keep the spirit of the original module, so these explanations also somewhat apply to the Anyma resonators. The Modal part will certainly be the closest, keeping in mind that the Quality parameter plays a huge part in how the end result sounds, so a higher quality will lend closer results to Rings.
