Dual Link Receivers?
-
If anyone has a setup where they switch between two different Link receivers, I would love to hear your experience.
I have two separate systems - a home desktop-based system and a road rig (see below) - that I switch between often (sometimes many times a day). Unplugging and moving my Link is a bear. If I got a second Link, is it possible to pair to both, or have them somehow both be receiving? Or ... is there a fast pair method?
FYI, here's my current "full monty" road rig.
- The Link is actually below the Strymon Timeline (lower left).
- The Sylphyo is on the back / right in a stand that I 3D-printed ... described here: https://community.aodyo.com/topic/606/floor-stand/6
- Most of the supports are 3D-printed to let me position all the units where I like them.
- All the units are all raised a fair amount to let me set up on a standard tabletop, stand and play and still see and reach everything.
- In practice, I often take a subset of this rig - like just the Link => XpressO => Mixer plus the iPod for a yoga session or similar, or just the Laptop => RME => Mixer for other settings.

@clint There is no way to pair two Link receivers currently. The pairing process is quite fast however, so you could get a second Link if you want to do that and re-pair the units when you are on the road.

@support_aodyo I was wondering if you could have 2 sylphyo players in a room, each with a link. Any interference? I suppose one player would have to pair, before the other switched on their sylphyo and link...

@paul-flute Yes you can have a lot of Sylphyo and Links in the same room, as each connection uses a separate channel.
