      @clint Thanks for all the technical details. For your concerns, I don't think you need to be worried unless you are being particularly harsh with your headphones and the Sylphyo! People have been using the Sylphyo for almost 6 years and we have had very very few complaints about the 1/8" connector or the USB port.

    • RE: Pedro Eustache's Sylphyo Settings

      @clint For the breath range, it depends greatly on what you are used to and if you are using any kind of plug. For me for example, I use minimum 5, range 3000 and curve linear. I find this gives me the best expressivity and response. The filtering option is mostly useful for older synths which might not respond well to breath control and can be left off with VSTs like Respiro.

      Please also note we've updated the saxophone fingerings recently with a new sax (alt. 3) which is really good!

      The key-noise (beta) feature is not very useful except for older SWAM instruments and can lead to some sort of "ghost-notes" being played in other VSTs (notably in Spitfire's BBC Orchestra).

      For the edge size feature, 5mm is very small and can be good if you are very comfortable with the Sylphyo like Pedro, but especially for beginners and for getting used to it we recommend using something more around the 10mm size.

      For the roll control setting, Pedro uses the bidirectional mode in order to send two different CC messages to his VSTs. The bidirectional mode will cause the roll to be activated at 50% on the internal sounds when Sylphyo is at a resting position, just as a warning! It is very useful however when controlling something like a VST or a modular synth if you want a certain setting to be around the 50% mark when resting (filter cutoff or something like that).

      Finally, please also note the compass control on the Sylphyo only sends a midi message, it is not set up to modulate the internal sounds.

      I hope this helps understand some of these settings a bit.

      @fanch35 Quel casque utilisez-vous ? C'est très certainement dû à l'impédance du casque.

      @fanch35 Bonjour !

      Nous sommes ravis que le Sylphyo vous plaise.
      Pour le volume au casque, rien de plus simple. Il y a plusieurs façons de le régler. Soit en utilisant le menu rapide, en tenant la touche Aodyo, tout en tapant sur le slider jusqu'à ce que l'option de réglage du son apparaisse, ensuite il suffit d'utiliser le slider pour régler le son. Il est aussi possible de régler le niveau dans le menu dans la section "son".
      Laraaji est super en effet ! Essayez aussi le nouveau Resozen qui va vous faire passer encore une autre nuit blanche...

      Musicalement,

      @jac635 said in Angles de "Shake to move":

      Mais les angles d'action sur le volume ne correspondent pas à utilisation du Uilleann pipes.

      This looks interesting! We'll keep it in mind for the future but it might take awhile to work on it.

      @badblocks Can you try to pair the Link with the Sylphyo again as that will switch the wireless channels and should solve your issue?
      Let me know if that works.
