@Peter-Ostry Thanks Peter. I didn't try as I was able to determine that the problem was that the LinkReceiver had a different firmware version than the Sylphyo.

RE: Internal Sound different via Headphone and LinkReceiver
Glad to report that the problem has been fixed. I bought my LinkReceiver after the Sylphyo and never used until now to play the Internal sounds out. I didn't know how to check the version of the firmware but downloaded 1.48 firmware as I am happy with that version on the Sylphyo and everything sounds as expected. So I assume the firmware version on the LinkReceiver was different and was the cause of the problem.
Thanks,

RE: Internal Sound different via Headphone and LinkReceiver
@ahiotis I purchased an Adapter that I can put my headphones in the Link Receiver Phone Line and the sound coming out of there does not match what I get why I put my headphone directly in the Sylphyo. So I can eliminate the problem being between the Link Receiver and my Amp. I tried resetting the pairing but that did do anything. How can I check the version I am running on the LinkReceiver?
Not sure what else to check? Thanks,

RE: Internal Sound different via Headphone and LinkReceiver
@Gromit No but I can get one and will try today and let you know. Now for Left Line Out and Right Line Out I assume those are used to send to two different speakers? I tried all 3 individually to the Amp and no changes. Should I also try combining left and right and send that to the Amp? I think there's like a Y Combinator. My Sylphyo is version 1.48 and I assume that the Link is also 1.48 but how do you find out the version number?
Thanks,

Internal Sound different via Headphone and LinkReceiver
When I use the headphones to listen to internal sounds like Resozen or others they sound exactly like the Aodyo Youtube examples but if instead I send it to the LinkReceiver which in turn uses LineOut to an amp with everything turned off (meaning no gain or other effects) except volume it sounds quite different. The sound has lost its richness/deep tone and is more high pitched.
Not sure if others have run into this type of problem?
Thanks.

RE: Sylphyo Internal sounds to Mac Logic Pro
@ahiotis I managed to get it to work. Basically used the LinkReceiver LineOut. I was hoping that I could connect the Sylphyo directly to the Mac but that's ok.

Sylphyo Internal sounds to Mac Logic Pro
Hi I have a simple question about the Sylphyo internal sounds.
I am able to connect the Sylphyo to my Mac and within Logic Pro if I create a Virtual Instrument then automatically I can use the Sylphyo to play that Virtual Instrument which is great. I can also do the same using the LinkReceiver using the LinkReceiver PowerSupply. It also works fine with Sylphyo Bench. I can play any of the 5 virtual instruments it has.
Now some of the Internal Sylphyo sounds are interesting and would like to send those sounds to Logic Pro and record them. I haven't been able to make this work either with the LinkReceiver or connecting directly the Syphyo to the mac and Logic Pro. I can connect my Sylphyo to an external amp and play the Internal sounds.
On Logic Pro I can create a new track and select MIDI -Software Instrument or MIDI - External or can create Audio - Mic/Line. I tried them all and no success. I guess I don't understand how Internal sounds can be sent as opposed to just MIDI information. I assume in the other cases MIDI information is sent to Logic Pro and is then used with the Virtual Instruments to play the Virtual Instrument.
It's probably something quite simple that I am missing.
Thanks for helping. -
Sylphyo Bench with/without Link Controller and Mac
I recently received my Sylphyo and Link Controller.
I can connect my Slyphyo via the provided USB cable directly to my Mac and the Sylphyo Bench recognizes it and I can play the sounds provided on the Sylphyo Bench.
Now I would like to do the same but using the Link Controller. I was able to connect the Link Controller to an amp and play the Sylphyo internal sounds so I know that works. But now I want to connect the Link Controller to my Mac and make sure it works with Sylphyo Bench before trying to integrate it with Apple Logic Pro X. For this I would like to use the Sylphyo Link Controller USB Host (as opposed to the USB Power supply like I think when I connected it directly to my Mac as it's used to power the Link). The Sylphyo Bench does not see/recognize the Sylphyo even If I do a refresh. It's probably something simple as I may not understand the purpose of that USB Host and how it works and have to use the USB Power Supply port for that but then I would need some sort of adapter to provide power to the Link?
Thanks,
Andre
