Sylphyo Bench with/without Link Controller and Mac

I recently received my Sylphyo and Link Controller.
I can connect my Slyphyo via the provided USB cable directly to my Mac and the Sylphyo Bench recognizes it and I can play the sounds provided on the Sylphyo Bench.
Now I would like to do the same but using the Link Controller. I was able to connect the Link Controller to an amp and play the Sylphyo internal sounds so I know that works. But now I want to connect the Link Controller to my Mac and make sure it works with Sylphyo Bench before trying to integrate it with Apple Logic Pro X. For this I would like to use the Sylphyo Link Controller USB Host (as opposed to the USB Power supply like I think when I connected it directly to my Mac as it's used to power the Link). The Sylphyo Bench does not see/recognize the Sylphyo even If I do a refresh. It's probably something simple as I may not understand the purpose of that USB Host and how it works and have to use the USB Power Supply port for that but then I would need some sort of adapter to provide power to the Link?

@ahiotis Forget the Bench software, it doesn't do much. Mine keeps crashing.... Just connect your Link to the mac using the USB power supply plug. You can use midi monitor (free to download) on your mac if you want to monitor the midi input. Logic also has midi monitor capabilities. You can still connect the outputs from the link into a mixer and hear the internal sounds. There are an infinite number of sounds you can generate using the mac, Logic, and other software.

The connection which takes the power from the Host, the computer, also transfers the data, So id you connect from the small usb connector to the Mac, your conection will work, and midi data will be transferred,
I Think Sylbench is only meant to check your setting of the CC in the Sylphio, least how i Use it.
The host connector is intended to connect a USB device, like a keyboard. Never used that.
