Just back from taking my Sylphyo with me on a 5-week trip across Southern Europe ... wanted to share the travel case I put together just before the trip. I managed to do the 5 weeks with just the knapsack and a carry-on bag, and had my Sylphyo, Link, PC laptop, an RME Babyface Pro interface, and "big boy" headphones. I had a full recording setup (via Cantabile on the PC) and it was a breeze!

I used a 15" length of 3" thin-wall PVC (Class 100 / SDR 41) from Flex PVC (https://flexpvc.com/). This pipe has an outside diameter of 3.5" and is light enough to carry and strong enough for storage (and possibly shipping - although for shipping I might go to Class 125 or 160 - somewhat thicker walls).

I 3D-printed two endcaps that fit the PVC tube exactly, added self-stick neoprene rubber on the ends and other key places, fixed the bottom semi-permanently with tape, added Velcro for the removable top endcap, and used an oversized fleece flute sock for inside protection.

(If anyone would like, I can post the .STL and/or OpenSCAD files, but it's a pretty simple design.)

Personally, I feel that this is a much safer shipping method for the Sylphyo than the original box ... The Link was packed in clothes and my carry-on suitcase, and the RME interfaces (which feels like it's built like a tank) was just wrapped in a plastic bag in my knapsack. All went without a hitch ...

And, by the way, I played all over the place in Portugal, France, Monaco, Italy, and Croatia, including a festival in Lisbon (just plugged into their board and used the mains as a monitor), and did the classic "you can play it anywhere" with just the Sylphyo and headphones on a train ride out of Monaco ... worked like a breeze!

@clint This is awesome, you've just given me an idea. I'm going to run down to Home Depot and get a piece of black ABS pipe with caps and create a small case while using some grey foam to go around the Sylphyo. It's one of those instruments you just want to take to the park or out into the woods. This way it will be waterproof let alone can absorb shock if accidently dropped.
