Some trouble with Beatstep Pro MIDI

I have had some issues getting the Phi to talk with my Beatstep Pro. I can't figure out why it is not working but I have had it working several times over the past week. My Korg NanoKey studio works fine via USB with the Phi, plug and play. The beat step pro works fine with my Pulsar, plug and play, so it is not the cable. I have BSP sequencer 2 set to channel 2 and my Phi MIDI set to 2, nothing. Any ideas? Like I said I fiddled with it and it worked before but I am not sure Why it worked. once I turned off the machines, nothing again.

@eponto Hello! We've had some issues with a few controllers (such as the beatstep). We are working on a solution for this and will release it as soon as we can through a software update. Thank you for your patience!

Stupid question sorry, but you use usb cable for your Anyma ?
(because i read plug and play with your nano or pulsar… so i just ask..)

All these controllers should work better through midi DIN than through usb Host for the moment, we will of course keep you updated as to an upcoming fix.

personnaly at this time i use midi with my Elektron Analog Four Mk1 for play and sequencing Anyma without any problem, work fine !! (and A4 is not a powerfull sequencer..) -

Pulsar - DIN to DIN with adapter works on BSP Drum sequence.
Korg NTS-1 - BSP works DIN with adapter on any sequence
Korg NanoKeys - works Phi through USB
Phi - DIN to DIN with adapter on BSP, works sometimes but not sure why or how. Was really crazy fun when it was working. -
OK thanks. I kept thinking something was wrong with my beatstep or I was missing something in a seting as it would work then not work with the Phi. I factory reset the BSP to take that out of the equation. I'll keep my eyes open for an update.

I am going to get my Midibox involved later this week to see if it makes a difference and test out more gear with Phi. Moved 2 weeks ago so still unpacking and setting up temp studio.

ok thanks, because pulsar plug and play i was a few confused..
i just have try with my A4 at this time, i will try with my Blackbox, sorry i don’t have bsp..
but the analog four is so basic for midi, it’s surprised your bsp don’t work..
i just receive my Anyma today, not update firmware or something more… just don’t understand how to find chanel at first time and found it after click click (no read manual at this time love discovering first… and work after..) -
@ipi Agreed, very intuitive interface. The BSP worked 2 separate times for me but now doesn't work. I guess as support said, there will be a patch soon. I have a friend coming to jam this weekend with a keystep pro, an Impulse Command, a DFAM and a Bassline, so I can test it with those and report back.
