You can find here a live sessions with a lot of little synths (mainly korg volcas and nanoloop mono) and the Sylphyo here (the set starts at 34:05).

The Sylphyo is used around 46:10.

@troy Adding just a little bit of portamento helps a lot for me. Of course if you add too much portamento, if you play a quick sequence it can become really "muddy".
