Up dateversion 1.2.1
A few weeks ago there was an udate version 1.2.1 for the Phi
a week later i got an email announcing new version factory software. With a link: the link showed factory update 1.21 ( 71 patches)
Was the link wrong and we have 10 updates we cannot download, or is it a double announcement?
Nobody can just use tha factory bank, without the update. And after updating to 1.21 one automatically gets ythe factory bank...
Confusion :

RE: A Modern Sylphyo Keyboard is Required - The Omega Has All The Keys
@ErikOnSax
Hi Ericyour comparison amazes me. and when i thing of it, the Sylphyo has more notes than the Omega. True imitating a real wind instrument has it limitations, but than as a musician you choose the settings with fits you, and practise you get fluent.
I come from the sax family, concerning keys, quickly realised that copying sax settings is funny, there are no acoustic constraints, changed te settings so half note up or down with pinky is efficient, and fast.
Yes needs some practise, but we practise anyhow. And doubling on a akoustic instrument needs the same, we are used to that.
but comparing a wind family instrument to a key ?? why not than the Fokker organ keyboard of the Osmose?

RE: Sylphyo Link on phantom power?
hmm i do not call it luck, but rather a professional way of working. know you equipmen and use the right tools. and there no issues. define on the rider what information one needs about the equipment to be used, and takes care the the proper cabling is tested available.
than there are so many who do not have a clue. those you help.
with a pair of scissors, and repair equipment. i remember hearing at a sound check that the keyboard player again has not bought new cables. you help him by cutting them to pieces, ans supplying an alternative. the music has to go on.phanton power has not been an issue , people who do not know to connect are.
for my own setup i use simple and cheap cabling. i go straight in a adconverter which has avb/tsn . instrument cable (hi-z ) go into instrument inputs, the rest is balanced. https://motu.com/products/avb/ultralite-avb is a good example. i may sound expensive, but it has all the basics. mixer fx etc. no deed for di boxes, and cheap connection to the digital world.
8 in and out. means on monitor mix, but also any input can go via the anima phi. and on the network.
and one can control from anywhere. and record of course.frank

RE: A very unrecorderlike anomaly in the recorder fingerings
i think the top octave . and the bottom octave go one hiher, cq lower than expected.
this way two octave are added to the range.

RE: Sylphyo Link on phantom power?
sorry for late response
the problem id rather simple. if a device needs phantom power
you switch it on.just like one does not try if an american device will work on 230 V
and it is the operator who should read. phantom powers ?
i have had more than 50 years concert experience, and never had a problem..
and i did lots of concerts , festivals. weekends with 9 sets a day.regards
