I finally unboxed my Anyma Phi and was ready to fiddle with it. Imagine my disappointment when, after plugging in the provided power supply, the unit did not turn on. I noticed that the power brick provided was 5V 2.1A but the manual says we should be using 5V 1A. I do not have a 5V 1A power brick to try out and see if that is the issue. I didn't see anywhere to contact Aodyo directly, so I'm putting a post up here hoping someone official might be able to assist. Thank you!

@relevart71 For what it's worth, I'm using the supplied power brick (2.1A as you state) without problems. My inexpert opinion is that is probably not your problem.

@bibenu I also feel it is not the problem but I just wanted to cover my bases. TY for the reply.

@relevart71 Hello! Sorry to hear that. Just to be sure, are you powering the Anyma Phi through the usb type A to mini-usb cable ? It needs to be powered with the provided usb to barrel plug cable.

To test if the power brick is the issue, you can swap it for any phone charger and test that. Let me know what you find out.

@support_aodyo I tried the phone charger and did not have any success. The unit would not power on.

@relevart71 I also experienced problems powering my Anyma Phi. It turns out to be the USB to barrel plug cable, which is not the best quality. I asked for a replacement cable, hope to receive it soon.

I was able to power on using a 9v adapter from another piece of electronics. The package included a European AC/DC adapter but not a US style one. I would recommend using an US style adapter for deliveries in the US. Not a huge deal since they are easy to come by, but would be a nice touch.

                  Thanks!

The USB to barrel plug is not great quality and why on why does every manufacturer think everyone has a mains socket 30cm away?

I also got a broken power supply cable. A continuity test showed that the ground wire was not connected between the USB and the barrel. Aodyo will send me a replacement cable.
