Hi I have a simple question about the Sylphyo internal sounds.

I am able to connect the Sylphyo to my Mac and within Logic Pro if I create a Virtual Instrument then automatically I can use the Sylphyo to play that Virtual Instrument which is great. I can also do the same using the LinkReceiver using the LinkReceiver PowerSupply. It also works fine with Sylphyo Bench. I can play any of the 5 virtual instruments it has.

Now some of the Internal Sylphyo sounds are interesting and would like to send those sounds to Logic Pro and record them. I haven't been able to make this work either with the LinkReceiver or connecting directly the Syphyo to the mac and Logic Pro. I can connect my Sylphyo to an external amp and play the Internal sounds.

On Logic Pro I can create a new track and select MIDI -Software Instrument or MIDI - External or can create Audio - Mic/Line. I tried them all and no success. I guess I don't understand how Internal sounds can be sent as opposed to just MIDI information. I assume in the other cases MIDI information is sent to Logic Pro and is then used with the Virtual Instruments to play the Virtual Instrument.

It's probably something quite simple that I am missing.
      Thanks for helping.

@ahiotis I managed to get it to work. Basically used the LinkReceiver LineOut. I was hoping that I could connect the Sylphyo directly to the Mac but that's ok.

@ahiotis I am having the same problem. Can you explain in detail how you got this to work?

You can only do this via an audio connection.

            1. small stereo plug into the audio output of the Sylphyo and on the other side of the cable into the audio input of the Mac (but I don't know if this works) or better (and this works) into an audio interface.

            2. if you have an Aodyo Link box, go from the two line outputs to line inputs of an audio interface. Or try instrument inputs. For me it sounds best when I use a DI box to go into the mic inputs of the interface. The line outputs of the Link are unbalanced, so use TS (Tip-Sleeve aka "mono") plugs.
