RE: Request; Sylphyo Editor
I agree , I think this would be a great thing , I suggested such a feature back in March 2020 but as it’s a small team I also understand this would take up a lot of time. Here’s a thought🤔…. Maybe if there’s any developers in the community, you could work with Aodyo to develop such an app, open source style maybe. it would be awesome if we were able to access to menu of the sylphyo from the iPad. It would be particularly useful to be able to change base key and patch number on the fly when doing a live performance. The interface could look something like this for example

RE: Sylphyo and Roland Integra-7 - Very first impressions!
I’m looking into changing my hardware module and find this very interesting. The Rolands can be a bit glitchy (my XV2020 gets stuck notes quite often), have you noticed this with the integra? Have you any sound recordings of you playing it ? I tend to favour instrument emulation personally

RE: XpressO? Is it worth it?
Merci pour votre réponse. Vous l'aimez comme source sonore? 🙂
I get your thinking as I was thinking the same but then on the other hand I’m thinking that the Vl70 is similar ages to the Roland XV 😀

XpressO? Is it worth it?
I’m wondering how many of you have and use the XpressO from DynaSample? And if so, what’s your thoughts?
I exclusively play within a church setting so my need is for emulation rather than the synth/techno sounds. For year I’ve been using the Roland XV2020 which is ok but limiting
Generally speaking the sounds I use most are
Ethnic Flutes
Cello
Strings
Celtic pipes
Pan pipes
Trumpet
Pads
I’ve never found a good clarinet or harmonica sound -

RE: Qui utilise un bouchon / Who uses a stopper ?
I use a pipe cleaner twisted into a T shape. You can alter the level of breath flow by twisting it tighter. Also it acts as a wick for moisture

RE: Problems with pith bend in the slider
I had the same issue hen I first got mine and yes I too sorted it by changing the thumb size. I have set mine so that to pitch bend down I just roll my thumb down from where I naturally have it at the thumb rest of the instrument. Then if I want to pitch bend a note upward I start the note with my thumb in the roll down position and roll it back up to the thumb rest of the instrument. This seems to work well although sometimes the slider seems to loose its start setting and the pitch bend only works halfway down the slider. When this happens I lift all fingers off the sylphyo for a few seconds at the first opportunity, then carry on playing. This seems to recalibrate the setting and all is good again.

Help! My Sylphyo seems to be dead 😵
I’ve just got my Sylphyo back and I was playing it earlier but it seem to be dead now. The light on the link turn green but the Sylphyo has no life . And I have a gig tomorrow

RE: The new Aodyo Link receiver
Out of interest, what style of patches are you looking to include inthe link? ie, emulating instrument sounds, pads, synth?

RE: Sticking tone
Sorry fella I haven’t been on in a wee while so didn’t see your reply, but I’ll try and help where I can. Firstly let me say that my XV2020 has the patchman sound bank in it so I do tend to use the breath control. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to look at my Roland settings as I’ve no computer that’s compatible with the editor for it. I regards to the BC there’s also the options tab in the Sylphyo that will also send different cc’s for volume but I tend to find it affects how the patches sound so I just stick with BC. It’ll be something to do with the settings in the Roland probably. But apart from that I’ll try and run through I’ve got the rest of the Sylphyo set up just now.

RE: Budget sound module
I also use a Roland (xv2020) with the patch an patches. There’s always some on fleabay for around £120 and then just get the patches from patch man . If you can though I’d go for the Roland xv5050.

RE: Sticking tone
Good morning guys. I’ve experienced this issue also after I updated to the latest os. I contacted the guys at aodyo back in July last year and they suggested decreasing the breath rate in the midi mapping section. Since then it’s been much improved . Ps I use a hardware synth (Roland xv2020).

Notes hanging
I’ve had this Sylphyo now for a couple of months and really like it and I look forward to the sound card and active mouth piece. But I do have a wee issue where the notes stick (hang). For example I may play a c3 but then nothing below this will play, I can play notes above it but note below. Any ideas?
