    • Wireless Bluetooth MIDI Xvive MD1

      Re: Anyma Phi Compatible Keyboards (esp. mini keyboards)

      Xvive MD1 is a wireless Bluetooth LE system that works for Anyma Phi. I tried it with MacOS (via Audio MIDI Setup) and with iOS, using an iPhone.

      As MIDI controller I use MIDIkeys for MacOS or for iOS. For iOS you can use the WIDI app to configure the wireless Bluetooth MIDI for the Xvive MD1. I assume it wil also work on an iPad, but I have not tried that. And I don't know about Android devices.

      @jimhanks
      Maybe a USB A to USB mini-B would do it, when you plug it into the Anyma Phi's USB device port. But you would indeed need a USB A to USB A cable to plug it into the host port.

      Good luck, I hope you can report something positive soon!

    • RE: Anyma Phi Compatible Keyboards (esp. mini keyboards)

      My experience is that it always works with 5-pin DIN MIDI In.
      As for USB, it works with my Arturia MiniBrute2S in Anyma Phi USB host; it does not work with my Nord Piano 2 USB.

      Does anyone know if it works with an iPhone, using the MIDIKeys app (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/midikeys-midi-controller/id363609665)? For this you would apparently need a lightning to USB camera adapter (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD821AM/A/lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter). It would be nice to make a setup with your iPhone as touch screen keyboard.

    • How to map controllers to specific MIDI CC?

      In the Anyma Phi manual (v.0.8.90, page 18) the default MIDI CC for mapping external controllers is discussed. A table with default CC values.

      The manual says "We will see later in this chapter how to setup your Anyma Phi to map A/B/C/D to speci􏰅fic MIDI messages sent by your keyboard or controller." But I cannot find how to do this anywhere in the manual. Did I miss anything?

    • RE: Issue Powering On Anyma Phi

      @relevart71 I also experienced problems powering my Anyma Phi. It turns out to be the USB to barrel plug cable, which is not the best quality. I asked for a replacement cable, hope to receive it soon.
