When I manually switch sounds on the link, they change, but the sound on the Sylphyo display does not change. (The sounds do change) Also the Bench software does not register a change in sound when I change on Link or Sylphyo..../// . I have plugged into the midi ports on the Link, and USB to my computer with a conversion midi-USB cable. I can trigger sounds on my mac, but the latency is terrible... However when I plug USB from Link to mac USB, nothing happens. I am using a brand new USB 2.0 cable, but the mac is from 2014. Any ideas?

@paul-flute Hello Paul! The first one is normal, as the Sylphyo and Link connection is one-way only, so you can pass information from the Sylphyo to the Link, but not from the Link to the Sylphyo.
The latency issue is almost certainly due to either the conversion cable or the software you are using. You can try lowering the buffer size or sample rate (or both) for better latency.
For the second problem, can you try plugging your Sylphyo or Link directly to USB and see if your computer detects anything?
Maybe try a different cable or a different USB port ? Which Midi channel is your Sylphyo sending to?

@support_aodyo My midi monitor program on my mac does not recognise the cable from the Link when I plug it in, so either the cable is faulty, or the link is not sending out midi thru the USB port. I will buy another cable and see if that works. I dont have other USB sound devices.
          Any other ideas.

@paul-flute out of curiosity which port are you using on the Link? The mini-USB port or the USB host port?

@support_aodyo Ah!!! Good question. I was using the USB host port. It works using the mini USB port. Silly me. I apologise for waisting your time.... By the way, I LOVE Sylphyo !!
