Risk for deep discharge?

Hi, will there be an issue if one forgets to turn off the sylphyo and it runs empty and the switch remains on for a time afterward. Is there a risk for deep discharge?

In such case of deep discharge only issue would be that recovering from such deep discharge would need longer time as the charging circuit would load the battery slower to recover from such condition without shortening the battery life.
