      Hi team/community,

Please know I really like this device!
Just one issue I want to raise, find a solution to, and maybe something that can be changed for future buyers.

Essentially, I'm looking for recommendation of specific alternative power supplies (or at least the DC-USB cable) - I don't want to damage my unit so would appreciate the team's insights and/or user experience.

My modest set-up is based on a standing desk.

With this, attempts to power the unit via USB ports available on my desktop come at a cost of noise - I've tried multiple ports and I understand that this can go hand-in-hand with USB power: ground loops etc. This noise disappears entirely when powered via the adaptor, but given the length of cable available, I have to bring an extension cord up and on to the desk to achieve silent operation.

The included power supply is among the shortest I've ever seen (1m maybe?): can anyone recommend a 2m or 3m equivalent? My set-up may not be the most commonplace but I have to imagine that this would be an issue for gigging musicians too: the cable wouldn't reach the ground from a keyboard stand.

I have a lot of positivity for this device and it's potential - just something I want to work around and maybe give feedback on this very minor but hopefully solvable issue.

      Thanks,
      Ross

I'd love to know too. Even just knowing the barrel size would be useful, because then I could source an alternate 5V power supply (which is what I assume it needs, given that it's got a USB connector on the other side).

@bibenu thank you: ordered a longer cable on the basis of the info provided here.
Will report back on success for others interested.

@join It would be great to have all these details in the manual, including barrel size for the connector (answer linked above), and amp rating for the power supply. Some info is already there, but I couldn't easily discover the barrel size.

Great idea. It'll be published along with the next minor update.

I’ve been using a 3 meter lead for some time. I find it’s always the case the shortest lead is provided.
