      Hi everyone,

First, a big thank you to all the early adopters who trusted us to release the Anyma Phi, as well as all the participants in this little user community.

We are releasing the v0.8.107 update for the Anyma Phi with the following changes:

      • Added a Delay modulator.
      • Now supports external MIDI volume control (by default, CC 7).
      • Added flexible MIDI routing settings, including DIN soft thru (limitations are detailed in the MIDI implementation chapter of the user manual).
      • Changing a parameter can display its value in large type, if the Large type setting is enabled.
      • When switching to another patch while there are unsaved changes, you can be asked for confirmation, if the Warn if unsaved setting is enabled.
      • Module editor screens now remember the last modified parameter of each module, until patch change or power-off.
      • Matrix parameters can be remote controlled via MIDI CCs when the Matrix CC Remote control setting is enabled.
      • All patch parameters can be remote controlled via MIDI NRPNs when the NRPN Remote control setting is enabled.
      • On the device, you can now view the patch load by holding Shift for half a second.
      • On the editor, when exporting a patch using the menu, the filename is pre-filled with the patch name.
      • Fixed a bug where patch names and colors weren't correctly reported when switching to another patch.
      • Fixed a bug where the editor wasn't responsive when attempting to save a patch with unmodified contents (e.g., after import or rename).
      • Fixed a bug where patch renames were not saved until another modification was done to the patch.
      • Improved the behavior of percussive oscillators with wind controllers.
      • Fixed formatting issues and links in the manual.
      • Fixed a bug where adding or modifying a mapping from the Anyma was not reflected in the editor.
      • Increased USB host compatibility with USB-MIDI devices advertising multiple device classes (e.g., Akai MPK Mini).
      • Added dimensions and weight in the technical features section of the manual.
      • Added a MIDI implementation chapter in the manual.

You can download the update here:

      • macOS package
      • Windows package

The update packages contain the update file to transfer to your Anyma Phi, the current version of the manual, a readme.txt file with instructions, as well as the current version of the PC/Mac editor for your operating system.

          Great update!
Downloaded and tested it last night. One strange behaviour I noticed is that all patches on the device appeared as EMPTY but when browsing and loading it would update with the actual patch name.
          For example:
          Slot 1: EMPTY
then when i browsed to it and load it now displays correctly as LARAJI +
So the patches are not lost, just the names are not loaded correctly until you actually browse to it.

One question I have is "On the device, you can now view the patch load", what does this actually mean or what is it used for?

Thanks for an amazing devices and looking forward to all future updates!

Yeah, I had that too. But it went away, possibly after I restarted either the editor or the anyma itself. I haven't seen it come back since then.

If you hold down shift, the top line of the display changes with a little bar on top right, which shows how much computer resources are being used, how much the load is on the computer. The more of the bar there is filled up, the closer you are to getting the "!!" warning on screen.

                @bibenu ah right, thanks!
Would be cool to have the option to display it as a number instead of the bar but nice addition either way

Thanks for reporting that strange issue. It's weird that it appeared on two different Anymas. Anyone having the same issue please report it here.

As for the CPU load as a percentage, duly noted!

Thanks for reporting that strange issue.

I'm fairly sure that it was connected to the editor when I saw it, and that the same symptoms showed on the editor and on the synth. Anyway, when it didn't re-appear I wrote it off as some caching issue that I didn't need to worry about.

@join Seems I had the same patch name issue. Goes after a second restart.

                            Bonjour,

                            Merci
                            Bien cordialement,

                            Fabien

I think I had the same problem ... you might want to try the 're-calibration' suggested here:

This could be fixed by recalibrating the knob (in the settings)

The current user manual has the details under the heading "System settings" -> "Volume calibr."

@tsukaï-ban Comme l'a dit @bibenu, une recalibration pourrait améliorer les choses. D'ailleurs, si vous pouviez noter les valeurs qui étaient présentes dans l'écran de calibration, ça me serait bien utile ! Merci.
