For the trumpet fingering, would it be possible to configure the Sylphyo to use the tilt/elevation to change the harmonic instead of the left thumb? For example, with no values pressed, a trumpet player changes from low C to middle G solely by pressing the lips tighter together. Having to use one's left thumb as a replacement for the tightening of the lips makes it difficult for a trumpet player (me) to learn. That's how most or all wind controllers do it. If raising the end of the Sylphyo higher could do the same harmonic change, I think that would feel more natural and would make it easier for brass players to use the Sylphyo.

RE: What is the status of the development of the "active" (pressure sensitive) mouthpiece?
Maxence, that's disappointing. When I bought the Sylphyo, I bought it in part because you were working on an active mouthpiece that you said might cost $100. I think at that time you had been working on it for four years. I think the cost of the Imoxplus Photon mouthpiece is going to be be at least three times that.
On 1/15/2021, Rudy of Imoxplus wrote to me in an email "We will provide a Photon neck adapter for the Sylphyo but right now no further actions have been undertaken for deep integration with the Sylphyo (this will depend on priorities of Aodyo and Imoxplus)."

What is the status of the development of the "active" (pressure sensitive) mouthpiece?
I think you've been working on developing an "active" (pressure sensitive) mouthpiece for at least four years. The last post I read about it was February, 2019. Can you tell us the current status of development?
There is at least one other company, probably more, developing a pressure sensitive mouthpiece. I learned about one of them, the Imoxplus Photon in a post here on the forum and looked at their website. That product is also still under development, but was in beta 2 testing in April, 2020, so it appears to be a lot farther along in development than the Aodyo active mouthpiece.

RE: Can't turn off reverb makes Sylphyo useless to me (Fixed as of 20/10/2020)
@Support_AODYO said in Can't turn off reverb makes Sylphyo useless to me:
For everyone else's information, I've had this conversation over email with the OP and have spoken to our developer about it, who confirmed to me that the reverb control functionality will be updated in the next several weeks with one of our upcoming releases.
Maxence, it's been two months since you wrote that. When will there be a release that allows me to turn off the reverb?

Is there a list somewhere of the sounds that are in the Link? I have not been able to find one.

Can't turn off reverb makes Sylphyo useless to me (Fixed as of 20/10/2020)
I saw a post from Feb. 14 reporting not being able to turn off reverb and a reply from Maxence 21 days later on March 25 that said reverb control is not operational in version 1.4 and it will be implemented in the next update. Not being able to turn off reverb makes the Sylphyo useless to me. Seems like the default should be no reverb, not 100% reverb. When will the update that provides the capability to turn off reverb be implemented? And a reply 3 weeks later needs to be improved. Disappointed in the Sylphyo. I should have waited maybe another 6 months before buying one.

RE: No indicator light when charging?
I didn't get a reply, so I charged it for 4 hours, unplugged it and went to sleep, and charged it for 4 more hours the following day.
I still want to know whether it will hurt the battery to charge it for more than 8 hours.

No indicator light when charging?
I'm asking these questions here in addition to emailing Aodyo so that other people may benefit from the answers.
I just received my Sylphyo and per the instructions plugged it in to charge the battery for 8 hours before first use.
There is no light to indicate it is charging. How will I know when it is fully charged? If there really is no light to indicate it's charging, please add one if possible in a firmware update.
All devices I know of that have a rechargeable battery have an indicator light to show it's charging and when it's fully charged either the light goes off or it changes color, for example, red while charging and green when fully charged.
Will it hurt the battery to charge it for more than 8 hours? I plugged it in at 7 p.m. Eight hours from now will be 3 a.m. Do I have to set the alarm to wake up at 3 a.m. to unplug it?

RE: Delivery time to U.S. and customs charges?
Thanks, I see you posted this 15 days ago. I'm just now reading it. I live in Vienna, Virginia, U.S.
I ordered a Sylphyo online from Aodyo on July 15, 2020.It was stuck in France with their shipper until a few days ago due to a shortage of flights out of France due to COVID-19. Once it left France the package quickly made it to my door.
Today is August 3, 2020. It was left outside on my front steps a few hours ago by the U.S. Postal Service, no signature required and no customs charges. Other than the delay, as you wrote, it was indistinguishable from ordered from a U.S. vendor.
