@clint When you say PLA does that mean polyurethane? I'm also thinking that maybe I could try carving a small rubber stopper with my Dremel tool (or use an Exacto blade) since I don't own or have access to a 3D printer. I also have some of that hot water molding plastic that I think has been mentioned. Anyways I like the way you think and then you go make something happen, you're totally DIY minded.

RE: Electronic Wind Instruments Intro Video
@clint Wow that is such a great idea in terms of preserving the sounds of these historical Native American flutes and an absolutely outstanding video, very impressive. You did an outstanding job explaining so that almost anyone can understand how this all works. I am watching and will rewatch this many times, close to 48 minutes and every second well spent. I too fell in love with the Sylphyo and ordered one right before I got the Anyma Phi, it was the sample sounds that were so impressive. You're making a very important point that the breath pressure isn't being designed for nor sampled like it should, nice to see how you're solving some of this with the breath curves. I also learned about back pressure plugs, I didn't know about those. You mentioned that the Yamaha VL70m uses equations, seems like a fuzzy logic type of approach. If I'm not mistaken this is also how the Anyma Phi works? I know that you're making your libraries free to download and of course we should mention this whenever we use them (Creative Commons Attribution) but is there also some way I could donate to the overall project? This is a very worthwhile project that you're involved with and I would like to contribute to it. Naturally I will get a copy of the Kontakt C platform which is required. Clint you're an amazing human being, so glad that I am getting to chance to learn from you. You're helping me become a better musician sort to speak by letting me stand on your shoulders.

RE: Anyma Phi Compatible Keyboards (esp. mini keyboards)
@join thank you for these details and yes I will report the Akai Mini MK3 which doesn't seem to work at all and spent quite a few days in the Land of Frustration thinking that I had a bad Anyma Phi but it was a good learning experience in terms of learning patience and not jumping to conclusions. I feel really blessed to be part of this community and the people here are incredibly gifted and helpful. The only way to truly say thanks is to learn as much as I can and apply it to making truly beautiful and innovative new music.

RE: Anyma Phi Compatible Keyboards (esp. mini keyboards)
@moogyloogy thank you for these details. I will take a look at these three keyboards. Those are some nice keyboards in comparison to what I was trying to use, the problem is that I like all three of them.

Anyma Phi Compatible Keyboards (esp. mini keyboards)
Hello Fellow Anyma Phi Community Members,
If possible I would like to gather a list of known keyboards that work with the Anyma Phi and even those which do not work.
-
Compatible: Chordmonger
-
Non-Compatible: AKAI Professional MPK Mini MK3.
I'm particularity interested in which mini-keyboards are compatible? I am hesitant in purchasing another mini keyboard unless I know it will work.
Thanks,

Muta Flutes: Ideas on how to reduce the static sound?
I was able to record tracks for all of the default patches, this would be useful to those who might be interested in purchasing the Anyma Phi. I really hope the Anyma Phi catches on and deemed a huge success. I'm very much interested in creating new patches. What I am discovering that there are a few controls in the matrix that have a huge impact on the sound of each of the patches. The one patch I am struggling the most with is Muta Flutes, seems like too much static. Not sure if there is a way to reduce the static when a note is being held? Seems like the longer you play the static seems to go away (see track #3): https://soundcloud.com/milo-dodds/sets/anyma-phi-samples

RE: Homegrown Travel Case
@clint This is awesome, you've just given me an idea. I'm going to run down to Home Depot and get a piece of black ABS pipe with caps and create a small case while using some grey foam to go around the Sylphyo. It's one of those instruments you just want to take to the park or out into the woods. This way it will be waterproof let alone can absorb shock if accidently dropped.

RE: Is it possible to connect the Anyma Phi straight to a DAW like GarageBand?
@andyhornblower Hi Andy - just now saw your post, we were out and about over the weekend. Yes I will totally check out your recommendation for Cockos Reaper, a sweet name. Yes Nick Batt is incredible, love that man and his depth of knowledge and experience goes deep. I also keep track of not only his Sonicstate podcasts but also SanjayC and Taetro. If I am not mistaken SanjayC podcasts is how I discovered Anyma Phi. Yes I will be recording soon via my M-Track Duo to my DAW. Btw we should connect via Soundcloud, I would love to hear your music. My channel is: [https://soundcloud.com/milo-dodds/](link url), I only do this as a hobby and would love to get into producing background music for podcasts, videos and movies. I'm a big fan of musical geniuses like Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone who btw passed away last July at 92 years old...such an amazing person. As we know the potential for the Anyma Phi is HUGE, especially once we all get good at creating new patches. It is also a very affordable way to get into monophonic/polyphonic electronic based music which I have acquired an ear for. Aodyo was super smart doing what they have done with how they are positioning the Anyma Phi, it's going to open a lot of doors for people like me.
