Hi, can you nurse an external piezo or contact mic to trigger Anyma’s Phi internal sounds?

RE: ROLI SEABOARD RISE ??
Update: connecting both Anima Phi and Seaboard to the computer, Anima Phi didn’t freeze anymore. The question arises: does Anima Phi supply enough power to connect the Seaboard straight to the USB host post?
However, I couldn’t use the Seaboards onboard controls or aftertouch with the included presets. Maybe they are not programmed to be used with my Seaboard settings?
I will keep investigating.

RE: ROLI SEABOARD RISE ??
Hi, I tried the Seaboard after making a template following the actual midi settings of Anima Phi (which are slightly different that the midi settings on the manual). Using channel aftertouch, not polypressure. Anima Phi keeps freezing after some notes. After switching on and off, Anima Phi only works again if I switched off also the Seaboard before switching on Anima Phi.
Possible causes:
- Is the Seaboard sending too much information and makes Anima Phi freeze?
- Is the Seaboard getting enough power from the host USB port on Anima Phi?
I will keep experimenting later today…
