I love this particular voice but it gets marred by high pitch sounds - almost screeches -- that keep showing up. Could this be this normal? Any tips on how to eliminate?

Dead Link
I did an update to fix an issue on the Sylphyo that's been recurring -- when i go from Bb to C, the C jumps two octaves from a Bb3 to C5. The C does the same thing in each octave
The update didn't fix the issue.
In addition, the Link wouldn't go on again. The settings show the receiver device as greyed out.
Is there anything to be done? Or should I just return it?
Thanks

RE: Amplification for Sylphyo
Thanks - the visuals are a huge help in seeing how useful these cables could be.
Have ordered them all now.

RE: Amplification for Sylphyo
Peter, I really appreciate your explanation of what the two sides of the Link output lines are for and your suggestion of what kind of cable to plug into the Bose speaker.
The 2X mono 1/4inch to 3.55m stereo sounds like the simplest solution. I'll try that first and then work my way through the others should that fail.
Thank you for your practical and thoughtful help.

Amplification for Sylphyo
I want to make my Sylphyo audible -- loud enough for lessons I'm taking online. Not to perform with a band or anything.
Would plugging a mono 1/4 inch cable from the Link Line Out to a Bose speaker's (SoundLink 2) headphone jack do the job?
Or would I need to use both the L and R Line Out to produce amplification loud enough to be heard?
Thanks

RE: Setup with Yamaha VL70-m Sound Module
So helpful, Clint. Thank you.
My Yamaha VL70 and Sylphyo both arrived today. It's a bit of a learning curve for someone new to anything midi.
There's nothing like a visual to steer one in the right direction.
