Since the update to 1.4.7, the Sylphyo won't respond to the command to actively search for an available Link. Has anyone been succesful?

      Best regards, Chris

Hi Chris! Thanks for posting on the Support forum.

We can continue on from our e-mail discussion on here if you want, and then other people can post their ideas.

As I said in my e-mail, can you try rolling back to 1.4.6 to see if that works?

        Thanks,

Update after some days of trying about 8 earlier software versions on both Sylphyo and Link: no change. The Link is stuck in pairing mode. Since my intended workflow relies on using outboard sounds, I will go back to the store, so they can decide what to do.

@Chris I think in this case as agreed over e-mail, it is best to send this unit back to Bax for a return.

For information this was a B-stock Sylphyo that clearly had issues before Chris got it.

Sorry for the disappointment Chris and let me know if there is anything I can help with.

So far one of the solutions is to install the 1.4.8 beta update which I can send you in a message. Some users have also had success with installing the update several times until the pairing functions again. Let me know if you have any luck.

@Support_AODYO well actually I have tried several times with v.1.4.8 beta, also with 1.4.7 and earlier versions, still nothing...

For the record: the Sylphyo mentioned above was returned to Aodyo for a checkup. I got it back in March, and while the functional issues were solved, there was still a problem with the fit of the outer casing: the upper half of the bell doesn't quite match the bottom. Bax has sent me another Sylphyo as a replacement, which appears to work fine. It has the same problem with the bell though.
